During the Appraisal.

Cover:

Give the vendor clear options.

Pay upfront

Pay later

Where suitable, explain that Property.Credit may allow eligible vendors to fund approved marketing costs and repay later under its terms.

Make clear:

  • It is optional

  • Approval requirements apply

  • Fees and conditions may apply

  • The vendor should review the provider’s current terms

Do not guess about fees, approval or lending conditions.

Ask the Vendor.

Before finishing the discussion, ask:

  • Are you comfortable with the recommended campaign?

  • Is there anything you would like removed or explained further?

  • Are you comfortable with the total budget?

  • Would you prefer to pay upfront or look at a pay-later option?

  • Is there anything stopping you from moving ahead?

  • What timeframe are you working towards?

Before You Leave.

Confirm:

  • Recommended campaign

  • Estimated budget

  • Optional marketing items

  • Property preparation required

  • Preferred payment method

  • Expected launch timing

  • Next step

After the Appraisal.

Send the vendor:

  • Marketing campaign

  • Campaign budget

  • Property preparation recommendations

  • Payment information if requested

  • Proposed timeline

  • Your contact details

Then update your CRM with:

A good vendor marketing discussion should leave the owner knowing exactly what you recommend, what it will cost and what happens next.
